I created Sample in 2019 because I needed a simple way to grab audio from the browser, and nothing out there did it well. Everything was either bloated, unreliable, or required installing a full desktop app for something that should take one click.

Since then, Sample has grown to over 300,000 users. It’s used daily by musicians, producers, educators, content creators, and countless others across the world. That still blows my mind.

Sample is a one-person project. There’s no company behind it, no investors, no growth team. Just me, building something I use myself and trying to make it as good as I can.
